在韓元等亞洲貨幣兌美元走升，出口商拋匯，加上中央銀行尾盤未強勢壓盤，新台幣兌美元匯價19日收盤重返2字頭，以29.978元作收、升值4.7分，台北外匯經紀公司成交量6.09億美元。
亞洲貨幣兌美元19日走勢回穩，不過，由於穆迪上調美國信評展望至穩定，仍支撐著美元，亞洲貨幣升幅受限，其中韓元從1127韓元反彈回到1122韓元兌1美元，日圓則從在100.86回升至100.3日圓兌1美元價位，而新台幣重回2字頭。
匯銀人士指出，新台幣兌美元匯價以30.045元貶值開出後，在韓元等亞幣走升，加上修正央行前一交易日干預匯價的補升效應，新台幣與台股脫鈎，在出口商拋匯帶動下，新台幣升破30元大關，盤中一度來到29.906元、升值1.19角。
雖然台股收盤大跌逾百點，不過，匯銀人士表示，由於亞幣回升，加上央行尾盤也未強勢阻升，新台幣兌美元匯價順利站穩2字頭，終場以29.978元作收、升值4.7分。
