「第七屆兩岸發展論壇」8月31日在杭州浙江大學開幕。

由浙江大學臺灣研究所、中國評論通訊社等單位共同舉辦的『第七屆兩岸發展論壇』8月31日下午在杭州開幕。本屆論壇以『亞太戰略格局與兩岸關係發展』為主題，來自兩岸的100多位知名涉台專家學者及有關部門研究人員應邀出席。
根據台灣網報導，浙江大學臺灣研究所所長王在希主持論壇並致辭，他說，近年來，兩岸關係向著鞏固深化的方向發展，兩岸交流繼續擴大。兩岸關係的不斷發展深刻影響了亞太地區戰略格局，而國際局勢的變化也成為影響兩岸關係的重要外部因素。當前，美國正在加大對亞太地區的關注和投入，推行包括軍事、經濟、價值觀在內的『再平衡』戰略。為了應對亞太戰略格局的新變化，海峽兩岸應該共同加強兩岸經濟一體化建設，及早建立兩岸軍事互信機制，來應對美國的『再平衡』戰略，在兩岸關係和平發展的進程中，努力在中華文化傳統智慧中尋找有利於兩岸關係和平發展的正確方向和途徑。
他表示，在亞太戰略出現新變化的情況下，探討兩岸攜手合作，擴大共識，把握機遇，共同應對挑戰，具有重要的現實意義。隨後，浙江大學黨委書記金德水、臺灣『國策研究院』董事長兼院長田弘茂、臺灣海基會副董事長許勝雄和臺灣中廣集團董事長張榮恭分別致辭。從8月31日至9月1日，與會代表將就『兩岸經濟共同發展與亞太區域經濟合作機制』、『亞太新局下兩岸軍事安全互信的途徑』以及『亞太新局下台港澳互動關係』等三項議題展開分組討論。
