「MOD互動微電影巡迴座談-台中場」，邀請產官學三界雲集，共同觀賞本屆得獎作品《無聲片刻》、《詭機》。

中華電信為推動應用服務開發，並促進數位內容產業的發展，10月9日於台中舉辦「MOD互動微電影巡迴座談-台中場」，除邀請臺中市副市長蔡炳坤、臺中市新聞局長石靜文，學者、企業、導演等產官學三界雲集，現場吸引近二百名學生前來，共同觀賞本屆得獎作品《無聲片刻》、《詭機》。
中華電信學院臺中所長黃慶寶表示，藉由提供數位創作舞臺及競賽獎勵，特舉辦「2013電信創新應用大賽創作擂臺」活動，透過MOD互動微電影巡迴座談走入校園與學生互動，希望鼓勵青年學子及社會大眾發揮創意，投入資訊應用服務與數位創作，喚起民眾在欣賞微電影的同時，也能「關懷周遭人事物」，帶給人與人互動的真實與感動。
副市長蔡炳坤致詞表示，微電影是最「貼近生活」的電影製作，也無須到電影院去觀賞，只要透過現代人隨身必備的電子通訊設備即可達成；蔡副市長說，臺中市有很多令人感動的人事物，歡迎影視劇組、年輕學子到臺中取景拍攝微電影，讓更多人認識臺中、看見臺中的美好。
座談會中播映校園組冠軍作品《無聲片刻》，及《詭機》；另邀請靜宜大學大眾傳播系主任邱誌勇、勤益科大人文創意學院院長胡志佳、逢甲大學通識教育中心李建成教授、向上遊戲科技設計中心主任高莉雅分享學界及業界對於微電影的觀點，並邀請吳德淳、黃嘉俊兩位導演實際分享創作微電影的心得與經驗。
